Pizza Party with Bar Evelyn
We’re teaming up with our good friend Nick Stanton from Coolangatta’s Bar Evelyn to throw a pizza party on the terrace at Bar Miette.
Nick made his mark in Melbourne at spots like Ramblr, Leonard’s House of Love, and Leonardo’s Pizza Palace. In 2020, he returned to Coolangatta and with his longtime friend Mark Catsburg, opened Bar Evelyn — a neighbourhood restaurant and bar named after Nick’s mum. The menu, “Italian-ish” as Stanton calls it, features handmade pizza, pasta, and plenty of coastal charm.
Nick and Jason will be spinning dough and stoking flames on the terrace, turning out Bar Evelyn’s New York-style sourdough pizzas — think salami with mozarella & hot honey, and zucchini with garlic, stracciatella, pickled red onion, & chilli oil.
A couple of signature Bar Evelyn snacks are also joining the line-up.
Ice-cold Peronis will be making the rounds so join us on Sunday 18 May from midday— reservations encouraged, but walk-ins always welcome.
